Surfing Competition at the Beach
This Rug/Blanket/Throw is 165cm wide x 200cm long. It is all hand made using hand dyed fleece. Alpaca, silk cocoon, tencel and mohair were spun and plyed with embroidery cottons, silks and wools for extra sheen. It has been woven using a Sampleit loom and joined together. Most of the weaving was done on our boat while travelling. I was inspired by a photo and put it into my art form of fibre. I have enjoyed making this and I do hope you all enjoy the fun of the scene, as I have. By Lyn A.
