Sukrita has taken to spinning really quickly. Her spinning is amazingly neat for someone so new to spinning. In the above picture, the small skein is Andean plied which none of us had ever done before. So thanks Sukrita for showing us how to do this simple but very useful plying method. Andean plying gives a two ply yarn so it looks exactly the same as normal, but allows you to ply a single thread, starting with both ends and no knots as the yarn is never loose. What a great invention! It is a bit tricky to describe, but easy to do. There are plenty of youtube videos showing how to do it so check them out if you want to try it.
