Julie’s latest creations are displayed here. She has really become quite fond of needle felting which she did to decorate the little bags, with her latest figure sitting behind.
Faye has dyed this merino wool to spin. She took out the paler wool and added more dye to the pot for the darker colour.
Laura decided to do some weaving with her handspun wool, some of which is hand dyed also. Laura plans to make a wall hanging so that she can showcase her work so far.
Sukrita has been doing lots of experimenting lately. From left to right, these are angora traditional 3-ply, angora Navajo plied, wool spindle spun and wheel plied for the next two, then alpaca on the right.
I love Debbie’s amazing crocheted rag rug. She made it using old sheets torn into strips using a size 25 crochet hook. It is so heavy that it is difficult for one person to lift it!
Lyn has woven this beautiful garment, modelled by Katie, on her loom. It is a sleeveless jacket and scarf all in one. Great to wear over any outfit as the weather gets cooler.
Erica has just completed this beautiful linen jumper. The coloured section she has had for a couple of years, but did not have enough yarn to finish, so Erica recently bought the neutral coloured yarn to finish her project, and the result was well worth the wait.
Olive has been working on this leafy tapestry for quite some time now, and has just finished it.
Debbie’s latest blue dye experiment. This fibre is alpaca and the colour is fantastic.
