Charlotte’s First Quilt

Charlotte's quilt

Charlotte made this sampler quilt quite some time ago, and it was her first.  The quilt is 1.2m x 1.2m.  The styles used were different in each section, including log cabin, machine embroidery, hand embroidery, hand-piecing, English paper piecing, pin wheel, flying ducks and hand-pieced hexagons.  What an amazing first effort.

  1. Beautiful work, Charlotte…. the colours are very attractive and I love the delicate triangular border pattern as a contrast to the strong central blocks……..can you fit a Community Quilt Sewing Day into your BUSY BUSY craft schedule?…(ha! ha!….I’m only kidding).
