I started knitting a p
air of socks an embarrassingly long time ago with what I call my rainbow wool. I hand dyed and spun the wool myself, then decided the wool would make a great pair of socks.
At around the same time I recall our newsletter writer, Beth, buying some of it to make a scarf, 
which she knitted and sold at an exhibition that we had. I don’t remember when that was but I fear it maybe have been 2012.
A short while ago VickyP, who comes on a Wednesday night enquired about the progress of my sock knitting, as I had not seen her in a while, and I had to
admit that they had become a long 
term UFO. I then got inspired to get that knitting out of retirement, and I have finished…..a sock. Don’t hold your breath to see the second one.
