A Hatful of Leftovers

Naomi's leftover hatThis hat was knitted using the leftover handspun wool from the Mangrove Mountain Country Fair.  Bev made up some fabric holders for the rainbow coloured wool which we had dyed beforehand so that the children at the Fair could choose their own colours for a bracelet.  We grabbed small handfuls of their chosen colours and spun super chunky wool for their bracelets.  Once they went off happily with their bracelet, there were little pieces of fleece left which I gradually spun throughout the day.  I plied the singles at home and then knitted this colourful child’s hat.  By Naomi.
