A Great Day at the Steiner Fair
This year’s Central Coast Steiner School Fair was a great day as usual. We all had a lovely time demonstrating and chatting to all the friendly people there. We demonstrated carding, spinning, embroidery and the weaving was especially prominent this year, with Julie on Lyn’s Saori loom, and Gay on the Sample-it. The Saori loom always gathers a crowd. Some of the children took a length of handspun wool that Naomi had spun for them, and they wove it themselves using the Sample-it loom with Gay showing them what to do. We had lovely displays outside in the sunshine which really brought out all the colours in our beautiful handmade items.
